Saturday 5th October 2019 Hart Park, Milwaukee   Attendance -   Following Detroit's win in Chattanooga, Cosmos were left needing a win in Milwaukee to realistically keep their Members Cup hopes alive. But after falling behind early on, Cosmos scored wither side of half time to take the 3 points.  Cosmos were on the front foot from the start but against the run of play Torrent took the lead. The home side won a free-kick close to the touchline. The ball was whipped in but Castano in the Cosmos goal could not hold the ball fired at him and Milwaukee defender Capozucchi was on hand to capitalise on the fumble. Cosmos continued to pressure the Torrent and former Cosmos keeper Tenjo pushed an Espinal effort wide as Cosmos went in search of an equaliser. Soon after Torrent survived a major scare as Espinal sent in a free-kick which Tenjo misjudged, but the ball somehow stayed out of the net as a scrambled effort flew fractionally over. Saturday 28th September 2019 Mitchel Athletic Complex, New York   Attendance -  A brace from Aaron Dennis helped Cosmos overcome a big obstacle in their quest to lift the Members Cup as New York overcame Chattanooga 3v1. Chattanooga had not been defeated in 5 straight matches since losing their first 2 matches of the campaign and were expected to provide tough opposition.  The first chance went to the home side as Espinal was afforded too much space to get an effort on goal and produced a fine curling effort that was tipped over. But seconds later Detroit fans celebrated as Chattanooga took a surprise lead. Cosmos found themselves short of personnel on the right wing after a swift attack by the away side and Joao Costa fired past Castano after some good play. Cosmos went straight on the attack and the returning Aaron Dennis unleashed a fierce drive straight at the Phil D'Amico in goal for the visitors. Cosmos were without striker Acuna after picking up a red ...

Saturday 21st September 2019 Keyworth Stadium, Detroit   Attendance - 6,297  The two frontrunners in the Members Cup battled to a 1v1 draw as we remain no closer to finding out who will win the trophy. After a small weather delay Cosmos came out the better side and Espinal skipped past 3 players on the edge of the Detroit box before curling an effort just past the post.  Cosmos continued to put pressure on the Detroit goal and Aaron Dennis had an effort well saved by Nathan Steinwascher in the home goal. Detroit were working hard to stifle the Cosmos in attack, but when Detroit did have opportunities to go forward they lacked support and the Cosmos goal was barely threatened in the first half. Late in the 1st half Cosmos had their best spell of the game as Espinal threaded a ball through to Acuna but Steinwascher came out well to make the stop. Steinwascher made 2 stops from Espinal free-kicks from the edge of the box and Detroit also cleared a header off t...
